Rainbow brights are in! As part of our Pride Month celebrations, we wanted to share our favourite ways to dress more colourfully - as seen on our VIBs!
How To Wear Rainbow Brights - As Styled By Influencers
Share
Summer is truly here, and we're loving seeing more daring colours out and about, as well as across our Instagram Feeds! In today's round-up we wanted to share a whole host of colour-blocking looks that make it look easy to wear any colour in the rainbow. And don't take our word for it - these outfits are styled by some of the UK's leading fashion influencers!
Plus, everyone featured here is a VIB on kathywilliamsmarketing. That's right - you can shop their wardrobes, purchase their preloved pieces, and look as good as they do!
As with all kathywilliamsmarketing pre-loved garms, for every purchase you make, we donate a percentage to charity too. If you missed our rainbow banner flying across the site, you'll love to know that for the month of June, kathywilliamsmarketing chosen charity is the ELTON JOHN AIDS FOUNDATION. Happy Pride Month!
1. All Red, As Seen On Ellis Ranson
Ellis Ranson is a UK based fashion stylist who has worked with the likes of Ferne McCann, Dani Dyer and Laura Anderson, so it's no surprise that Ellis has great taste when it comes to fashion. She was the perfect pick for the first look in this rainbow list: not only is Ellis stepping out in hot red - and making it look easy - she's also wearing clothes designed for men. Is it time we look passed the gender binary of menswear and womenswear? We think so.
2. Highlighter Orange, As Seen On Ingrid Wilkinson
Ingrid Wilkinson is a UK based Swedish blogger, but don't let her nationality fool you. Despite many minimalist fashion lines and styles coming out of the Scandinavian region, Ingrid is one to follow if you love pops of colour! Here, she showcases how to wear a highlighter-bright orange blazer with ease - just match with a white t-shirt, jeans, sneakers, and an equally bright bag. We love!
3. Yellow Polo, As Seen On Charlie Irons
Charlie Irons is a UK based Fashion, Grooming and Lifestyle Instagram Influencer, and also writes the blog, Man About Town. We chose to feature his masculine style here as it's the perfect example of working colour into any wardrobe, and any outfit! Try pairing a brightly coloured polo neck jumper with muted extras - a leather jacket, black jeans, and clean shoes look great.
4. Green Maxi Dress, As Seen On Natseleen
Has anyone else noticed that green is having a moment? When putting together this outfit compilation, there were so many options on how to wear green. Perhaps it's an easier colour to wear, or perhaps it's simply in style - who knows. Either way, we had to share this gorgeous example of how to wear a green maxi dress with confidence, as Natseleen does here. Style with minimal gold accessories and an it-bag for true glamour.
5. Sky Blue Mini-Dress, As Seen On Olivia By Nature
From maxi dresses to mini dresses... Here Olivia Frost, better known as Olivia By Nature, shows us how to pull off a bright blue mini dress in the cutest way possible. Her colourful style had to be included in this guide, and this blue number seemed like a great fit, with blue socks and even blue nail polish to match!
6.Lilac Shirt & Shorts, As Seen On Billie Shepherd
As a modern take on the traditional rainbow, we've gone for lilac rather than indigo or violet! Here, Billie Shepherd pairs two beautifully matched lilac pieces, an oversized shirt and pair of cycling shorts. All on trend for SS21 too!
7. Pink Co-Ord, As Seen On Lauren-Nicole
And as another addition, let's add in pink to the rainbow flag! Lauren-Nicole is a Blogger, Model, and was previously Cosmopolitan's Contributing Curve Editor, so it's obvious why her hot pink outfit here had to be included. What do you think of her styling? Hot pink co-ords in a floaty material are perfect for summer, the hot pink handbag in an oversized style is perfect for 2021, and the lemon yellow bralet that makes the whole outfit pop!
8. Rainbow Brights, As Seen On Leila Kashanipour
As a bonus addition to this list, we had to add Leila Kashanipour (better known as Leviankash)'s rainbow tie-dye t-shirt look into the mix! Because if you can't decide on one colour... why not wear them all! Go all out as Leila does here in a rainbow tee, tie-dye jeans, and muted accessories.
LGBTQ+ Influencers To Follow
Alongside the colourful outfits we've compiled in this post, we also wanted to share some of our favourite LGBTQ+ influencers and suggest you go give them a follow!
